This is the story…
For the last ten months, the boys from TnFn have been scattered all through out Ohio. They’ve been searching and digging to fill the void that TnFn left. Some of them started new bands and others tried moving on to other avenues. Some of them have found a path that leads to the next chapter, but with some, they found their way back to the road that leads to Pop Music.
Friends, we are the Nothings From Nowhere. We tried to fight off the juvenile name and trendy pop hooks. We tried to be “more relevant” and tried to write “trendy” music. We tried being the “socially” superior clique and we also tried not giving a crap about anything. What it boils down to is our passion to be in a band that comes natural. We are the band that writes happy songs. We are the band that wants to inspire you to live. We’re the band with the fat kids who dance with no grace. We name our songs after irrelevant pop culture references and pay no mind to what’s popular at the moment. We’re arrogant, but we strive to be humble.
We’re really excited to start playing again. There’s only one absence we feel compelled to explain:
John Craig Beach, keyboard player for six years, will not be making the trek with us. He was such a devoted and loving member of our band, but he has found a path that works for him. He is doing is own thing and we couldn’t be happier for him. In remembrance and honor of Craig, we will forever retiring the keyboard position in TnFn.
Hopefully you get a laugh. Maybe you’re excited. We hope so.
We’re all so excited.
TnFn <3’s You!
(P.S We’ve really missed writing that.)
